General Access
If you require any assistance, would like additional information or wish to discuss how the venue can help you make the most of your visit any of the staff or volunteers will be delighted to help. Hearing Dogs & Guide Dogs are welcome.
WheelChairs
Each area within South Mill Arts is accessible for people using wheelchairs. They have a lift for access to the first floor balcony, meeting rooms and Bishop’s Stortford Museum. There are two wheel chair positions within the main auditorium.
Toilets
There are two disabled toilets, located on the ground floor near the main stairs and on the first floor near the Cedar Room. All toilets have emergency call systems installed to provide our customers reassurance. Each toilet allows for individuals with right hand and left-handed impairments.
Parking
There is limited free on-site parking with two dedicated spaces for drivers with disabilities, during busy periods we advise customers to arrive early to ensure a space as the car park does fill up quickly.
